Blank Rome Partner Dominique L. Casimir will speak at a pre-conference workshop kicking off American Conference Institute’s 5th Networking Forum on Women Leaders in Defense and Aerospace Law & Compliance, being held Wednesday, February 26, 2020, in Washington, D.C.

Dominique’s session, “Leadership 2.0: How to Boost Your Leadership Skills and Manage Upward,” one of two brand new pre-conference workshops, will take place Tuesday, February 25, from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. Her co-presenters will be Laura Semple, Assistant General Counsel, Management Services Group, AECOM, and Mary Kim, Director & Associate General Counsel, General Dynamics Information Technology.

The session will provide key strategies for boosting reputation within organizations and learning how to work with peers and senior management, including:

  • Finding the right mentor
  • Building your network both in and outside of your organization
  • Secrets to getting a promotion
  • Evaluating your career path

This conference will provide a forum for women in the defense and aerospace legal and compliance community to discuss professional opportunities as to foster communication between like-minded individuals about the key legal, compliance, regulatory, and enforcement developments to impact the defense and aerospace industry in the past year. The agenda has been developed based on discussions with industry professionals and is designed to share real world experiences and lessons learned for leadership, advancement, and success.
