Blank Rome Partner Linda Kornfeld will be speaking at the 30th Annual Lavender Law® Conference & Career Fair, being held August 8 through 10, 2018, in New York City.
Linda will present as part of the conference’s Corporate Counsel Institute. Her session, “Cyber Nightmare: Protecting Data under U.S. and European Union Laws and Regulations,” will take place from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. and will cover how to risk manage around the EU’s Global Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), through careful monitoring of internal data protection policies and contracts with outside vendors, while ensuring robust insurance policy protections are in place should a cyber incident occur. Linda’s co-panelists will be Sam Castic, Sr. Director of Privacy & Assistant General Counsel, Nordstrom, Inc., and Cameron Faber, General Counsel, Los Angeles LGBT Center.
