Compliance and Enforcement—Staying out of Trouble

Blank Rome Partner Jeanne M. Grasso will speak at Active Communications International’s (“ACI”) 23rd Ballast Water Management Conference, being held June 26 and 27, 2019, in Houston, Texas.

Jeanne’s presentation, “Compliance and Enforcement—Staying out of Trouble,” will take place Wednesday, June 26, from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m., as part of Session One, “System Compliance: When to Act.” 

The conference brings together vessel owners, managers, operators, key regulators and authorities, Ballast Water Management System manufacturers, testing facilities, and classification societies, for two days of presentations, discussions and informal networking. The 23rd edition of ACI’s Ballast Water Management Conference is specifically aimed at the US shipping industry, addressing U.S. Coast Guard enforcement, EPA permits, and providing advice on how U.S. ship operators can navigate international waters without being in breach of regulations.
