Bill 88 amended Ontario’s Employment Standards Act, 2000 to include a new obligation for many Ontario employers to have a written “electronic monitoring” policy in place by October 11, 2022. Gowling WLG lawyers will explain what developments have occurred since our first webinar on this topic was held in May 2022 and share insights and best practices on how employers can develop and draft electronic monitoring policies to achieve ESA compliance, while balancing business needs such as maintaining flexibility and security.
