Advancing Women in Law Forum
Blank Rome LLP was pleased to host a forum on “Advancing Women in Law,” featuring Avery Blank, a millennial impact strategist, women's advocate, and lawyer who helps others to strategically position and advocate for themselves to achieve individual and organizational goals. The event was held on Friday, January 27, 2017, at the Firm’s Philadelphia office.
Ms. Blank spoke with a group of women associates on the issues law firms are facing in trying to retain and advance women lawyers and the strategies talented women can use to be seen and heard that can quickly advance their career.
The program was organized by Partner Daniel Rhynhart, following his involvement with the Diversity Lab’s Women in Law Hackathon and Women in Law Hackathon Alliance. Chief Officer for Diversity and Inclusion Christopher Lewis, Women’s Forum Chair Lisa Casey, and Associate Kathy Herman, who joined the Firm though the OnRamp Fellowship program, were also in attendance.
Ms. Blank wrote about the forum in the following Forbes article.
