2021 AACMI Annual Meeting

Blank Rome partners Yelena M. Barychev, co-lead of the firm’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (“ESG”) team, and Sharon R. Klein, chair of the firm’s Privacy, Security & Data Protection practice, will speak at the 2021 Association of Audit Committee Members, Inc. (“AACMI”) Annual Meeting, being held virtually on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. EDT. The Meeting will cover key issues relating to Audit Committee oversight over climate risk management and ESG matters, as well as cybersecurity risk.

Yelena, who is President of the AACMI, will open the meeting at 9:00 a.m. EDT with “Introductions and Remarks.”

Sharon’s session, “Cybersecurity Risk and the Audit Committee,” will take place at 9:55 a.m. EDT and she will be joined on the panel by Jane Scaccetti, Board member at Myers Industries Inc., and Michael Stiglianese, Managing Director and National Co-Leader, Infrastructure and Cyber Solution, BDO USA LLP.

The meeting will feature a keynote fireside chat with Diana Stoltzfus, Deputy Chief Accountant, Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Association of Audit Committee Members, Inc., (“AACMI”) was founded by Blank Rome corporate attorney Frederick D. Lipman.

This program is accredited by AACMI for 2 CPE credits, through its NASBA accreditation and is anticipated to qualify for 1.5 general CLE in CA, CT, NJ, NY & PA.
