2018 AACMI Annual Meeting

Five Blank Rome partners will be participating in the 2018 Association of Audit Committee Members, Inc. (“AACMI”) Annual Meeting, being held Friday, October 5, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, office.

The meeting will feature a keynote address by Wesley Bricker, Chief Accountant of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and Blank Rome Partner Frederick D. Lipman, who serves as president of AACMI, will provide opening remarks.

Fred, along with Scott F. Cooper and Brooke T. Iley, co-chairs of Blank Rome’s labor & employment practice group, will be on the panel, “The Chief Executive Officer of Your Company Is Accused of Sexual Misconduct: What Is the Role of the Audit Committee?” from 9:10 to 10:15 a.m.

Partners Mark M. Lee and Joseph G. Poluka’s panel, “What Are Common Mistakes in Internal Investigations, Including Audit Committee Investigations?” will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (“PCAOB”) will also provide an industry update.
