A Blank Rome team represented Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation (NYSE: WAB), commonly known as Wabtec, a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for the freight and transit rail industries, as well as the mining, marine, and industrial markets, in connection with the disposition by its subsidiary, Wabtec Components LLC, of the business and assets of Unitrac Railroad Materials, a business that is involved in designing, manufacturing, supplying, distributing, and reselling railroad track products, including special trackwork for Class I, short line, industrial, and urban rail operators, to voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak LLC. The carve-out transaction was structured as a sale of assets and closed on August 26, 2024.
