Blank Rome Represents J.F. Lehman & Co. In Its Sale of IMIA Group Holdings, Inc.
A Blank Rome team represented longstanding firm client J.F. Lehman & Co. (“JFLCO”), a leading middle-market private equity firm focused exclusively on the aerospace, defense, maritime, government, and environmental sectors, in connection with its sale of IMIA Group Holdings, LLC (“IMIA”) to investment affiliates of The Carlyle Group and Stellex Capital Management. The transaction closed on November 1, 2021.
IMIA is headquartered in Spanish Fort, AL, and was formed through the combination of JFLCO portfolio companies, IMIA Holdings and American Scaffold Holdings. It provides comprehensive marine preservation, structural, scaffolding and environmental containment, and staffing services for the maintenance, repair, overhaul, and construction of the U.S. Navy fleet and all its vessel types—submarines, aircraft carriers, surface combatants, and auxiliaries—in both private and public shipyards.
