Blank Rome Represents Iconix Brand Group in Acquisition of Remaining 50 Percent Interest in Iconix Canada
Blank Rome represented Iconix Brand Group, a brand management company that licenses brands to retailers and manufacturers primarily in the apparel, footwear, and apparel accessory industries, in its acquisition of the remaining 50 percent interest in Iconix Canada from its joint venture partner for $19 million, gaining full ownership of the company. Under the terms of the agreement, Iconix will pay $12 million upon closing, with the remaining amount to be paid over the next two years.
