Fundamentals of Civil Litigation 2017

Blank Rome Associate Adam V. Orlacchio will serve as the moderator of the “Fundamentals of Civil Litigation 2017” CLE event, which will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017, at the offices of the Delaware State Bar Association (“DSBA”) in Wilmington, Delaware.

This full-day program will feature presentations from Delaware’s judges and practitioners representing each of Delaware’s courts, and focuses on providing tips for litigating before Delaware’s courts, practice pitfalls to avoid, and court updates.

The event is hosted by the DSBA’s Litigation Section, of which Mr. Orlacchio presently acts as chair and formerly held positions as vice-chair, secretary and council member. The Litigation Section’s mission is to advance the interests of attorneys and the judiciary in the litigation of civil matters in Delaware and lead efforts to serve the community and foster professionalism and camaraderie in the DSBA.

At Blank Rome, Mr. Orlacchio maintains a national litigation practice, with a focus on Delaware corporate law, and provides legal counsel to clients on a wide range of business issues. He frequently advises clients on complex commercial and corporate litigation matters, including breach of contract matters; shareholder disputes; breach of fiduciary duty and corporate governance claims; merger and acquisition litigation; business torts; mass torts and products liability defense; employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation litigation; patent infringement and intellectual property; trade secret and non-compete litigation; and real estate and construction litigation. He is admitted to practice law in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
