Blank Rome Recognized as a 2015 Pennsylvania Powerhouse by Law360

Blank Rome LLP is proud to be recognized as a 2015 Pennsylvania Powerhouse by Law360. According to Law360, the seven firms making up this year’s Pennsylvania Powerhouses list have capitalized on an ongoing energy and medical boom to fuel growth while expanding their reach in the region and beyond.

The Firm’s significant capabilities, growth, representations, and clients in the energy, life sciences, banking and financial services, real estate, middle-market and public companies, and labor and employment industries and arenas, as well as its prolific national litigation practice and deep bench strength and prominent regional attorneys, also added to the Firm’s recognition as a Pennsylvania Powerhouse.

Blank Rome particularly stood out for its sizable footprint in Pennsylvania, as well as its significant regional accomplishments over the last year. Further, Blank Rome is one of the five Philadelphia-based firms on Law360’s Pennsylvania Powerhouses list that opened an office in Pittsburgh, a substantive strategic decision in the region’s competitive legal industry that grew out of the Firm’s 2011 expansion and subsequent 2013 growth in Texas.

On Blank Rome LLP being recognized as a 2015 Pennsylvania Powerhouse, Law360 states:

"A Philadelphia mainstay in corporate law, real estate, and litigation since its founding in 1946, Blank Rome LLP embarked on a pattern of impressive national growth in the late 1990s. That expansion, particularly a booming Houston-based energy practice, has finally drawn the firm across the Allegheny range, where it opened a brand new Pittsburgh office in January.

That new presence on the western side of the state, along with its continued representation of Pennsylvania’s top banks and its work on real estate deals that have the prospect of reshaping Philadelphia, has landed the firm on Law360’s list of Pennsylvania Powerhouses."
