Ana Tagvoryan Named “Woman of Promise” by Comerica Bank Women’s Business Awards Program

Blank Rome Partner Ana Tagvoryan was recognized as a “Woman of Promise” by the Comerica Bank Women’s Business Awards Program, presented in conjunction with the Los Angeles Lakers, at the Lakers game on Friday, April 7. The “Woman of Promise” award is a tribute to women who are rising stars in their chosen field or industry. Ms. Tagvoryan’s well-deserved award marks the second female attorney in Blank Rome’s Los Angeles office who has been honored with the “Woman of Promise” designation in 2017, with fellow partner Cheryl Chang receiving her award in March.

The Women’s Business Awards Program recognizes women in leadership in Southern California based on five distinct categories: Woman of Entrepreneurship, Woman of Business, Woman of Philanthropy, Woman of Diversity, and Woman of Promise. Honorees are recognized on court at a Lakers game.

At Blank Rome, Ms. Tagvoryan serves as chair of the Firm’s privacy class action group and concentrates her national commercial and corporate litigation practice on consumer class action defense, with an emphasis on consumer fraud, data privacy, marketing, and compliance issues. She previously served as the co-editor of the State of Kentucky’s 2006 Voters’ Manual—a pro bono service for the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law—and is the founder of MAMAs LA (“Mother Attorneys Mentoring Association”), a family-friendly networking and support organization focused on the distinct issues women face while toggling the dual role of mother and attorney, including work-life balance, diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and women’s advancement. Ms. Tagvoryan was recognized as a 2017 “Los Angeles Super Lawyer” in Business Litigation by Super Lawyers, and as a 2015-2016 “Southern California Rising Star” in the Super Lawyers edition of the Los Angeles Magazine.
