Blank Rome Paralegal Named “August Volunteer of the Month” by Philadelphia VIP
Blank Rome is pleased to announce that Sheldon Bender, a paralegal based in the Firm’s Philadelphia office, has been honored as the “August Volunteer of the Month” by Philadelphia VIP, the hub of pro bono legal services in Philadelphia. Each month, Philly VIP recognizes a volunteer who has captured the heart of pro bono service, and has gone above and beyond to help VIP clients resolve their legal matters. Mr. Bender has been a part of the Firm’s Real Estate practice group for 32 years, and has since become a dedicated Philly VIP volunteer, assisting VIP clients with complex real estate issues. In the past three months, he has helped two clients resolve time-sensitive administrative issues relating to their properties, allowing them to remain in their homes. Without Mr. Bender’s assistance, these clients would have likely lost title to the homes that they had been living in for years.
