Blank Rome’s Summer Associate Program Nationally Ranked 29th by American Lawyer
September 30, 2010Blank Rome is pleased to announce that the Firm has been nationally ranked 29th out of 101 firms in American Lawyer’s 2010 Summer Associate Survey. These rankings are based on feedback from 3,000 law students and scores are based on responses in nine key subject areas.
The firm was rated on key scoring questions, such as:
- how interesting the work was
- how much “real” work was assigned
- training and guidance
- partner-summer associate interactions
- full-time associate-summer associate interactions
- how well firm communicates its goals and expectations
- how accurately firm portrayed itself during interviews
- inclination to accept a full-time associateship
- overall rating as a place to work
Other areas we scored highly were:
- amount of work
- level of responsibility
- opportunities for pro bono work
- opportunities for mentoring
- firm seemed the right size
- humane approach to billable hours
