Blank Rome advised MediFlag LLC, a Maryland based company focused on the growing need for quick and effective tools and services that can allow medical practitioners to communicate with a diverse patient population, in connection with an angel equity investment transaction.
MediFlag is a company that provides a 24 page booklet in 14 languages enabling medical professionals to conduct initial medical assessments of patients who do not speak English. The MediFlag booklet is used throughout the United States by Physicians, EMS, Fire/Rescue and Hospitals. MediFlag continues to focus on value to the customers who use it through cost savings and increased quality of care for non-English speaking patients.
