Blank Rome Of Counsel Judge Nathaniel Jones will speak at the Association for the Study of African American Life and History’s 102nd Annual Meeting and Conference, taking place September 27 to October 1, 2017, in Cincinnati, OH.
Judge Jones will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon on Thursday, September 28, which will be from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m. His topic will be, “Answering the Call.” Judge Jones’ memoir, Answering the Call: An Autobiography of the Modern Struggle to End Racial Discrimination in America, published in April 2016, is described by the publisher as “an extraordinary eyewitness account from an unsung hero of the battle for racial equality in America.” Judge Jones was nominated for an NAACP Image Award in the “Literature: Outstanding Literary Work – Biography/Auto-Biography” category for the book.
The mission of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (“ASALH”) is to promote, research, preserve, interpret and disseminate information about Black life, history and culture to the global community.
