4th Annual Capital Link Invest in International Shipping Forum

Blank Rome is proud to be a sponsor of the 4th Annual Capital Link Invest in International Shipping Forum, held in New York City on March 25, 2010, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Brett Esber, partner in Blank Rome’s maritime practice, will be attending the forum and speaking in a panel discussion—Shipping and Banking Finance—from 8:40 a.m. to 9:20 a.m.

Mr. Esber will be joined by Mr. Harris Antoniou, Global Head Energy, Commodities & Transportation, Fortis Bank Nederland, and Mr. Robin Das, Deputy Global Head of Shipping, HSH Nordbank.  The panel will be moderated by Mr. George Cambanis, Senior Partner, Global Shipping Leader, Deloitte Hadjipavlou Sofianos & Cambanis.

The forum’s objective is to provide investors with a comprehensive review and outlook of the current state of shipping markets, as well as provide updates on critical issues facing the industry today.  It will cover such topics as dry bulk, tankers (products & crude oil), containers, commodities, the ability of shipping companies to meet their financing needs through bank loans or access to the capital markets, consolidation, fleet expansion opportunities, and M&A in shipping.

Panel discussions include executives from listed shipping companies, charterers, shipbrokers, bankers and financiers, securities research analysts, and market experts.
