"The ProBuilders decision is pragmatic and vindicates the reasonable expectations of the policyholder," said Blank Rome LLP associate Omid Safa. "If a policy extends coverage for negligence, the insurer shouldn't be able to escape liability simply because an uncovered peril appears later in the causal chain."
