December 8, 2016
Blank Rome LLP Associate Jeffrey N. Rosenthal has been elected to the Board of Directors for Community Legal Services (“CLS”), Philadelphia’s oldest and largest nonprofit law firm devoted to ensuring access to justice for low-income people. As a member of the Board, Mr. Rosenthal will oversee the fiscal and legal matters of CLS, and focus on the organization’s ongoing health and welfare.
Mr. Rosenthal also served as a member of the Audit and Finance Committee of CLS and Philadelphia Legal Assistance (“PLA”). He has been an active volunteer with both organizations, and previously served as the 2015 Board Observer for CLS as part of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Board Observer Program.
“CLS has been doing so much, for so many, for so long,” said Mr. Rosenthal. “As CLS embarks on its impressive 50th year of serving those who need it most, I feel truly honored to have been asked to join such a caring, talented and committed team of staff members, attorneys and fellow board members. I look forward to working together to improve our shared community.”
Based in the Firm’s Philadelphia office, Mr. Rosenthal concentrates his complex corporate litigation practice on class action defense, with an emphasis on consumer fraud and privacy claims in both state and federal court.
