Blank Rome’s Henry Cashen Appointed to the Board of Directors of Safe Shores

Blank Rome Senior Counsel Henry C. Cashen has been appointed to the board of directors of Safe Shores, a nonprofit children’s advocacy center that is dedicated to supporting and working directly with child victims of sexual and physical abuse in Washington, D.C. As a member of the board, Mr. Cashen will oversee Safe Shores’ fiscal and legal matters and focus on the organization’s ongoing health and welfare.
At Blank Rome, Mr. Cashen concentrates his practice on matters unique to the federal government, its agencies and departments, the Executive Office of the President, and the United States Congress. He has represented clients before the U.S. Congress and the standing committees of the Senate and House, and has served as counsel to several trade and professional associations, as well as nonprofit organizations and international businesses. In addition to Safe Shores, Mr. Cashen has served on the board of directors and board of trustees of numerous organizations, including the Episcopal Center for Children, Brown University Sports Foundation, and Metropolitan Club of Washington.
