Blank Rome Names Eric G. Fikry as a 2013 Fellow on the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

Blank Rome LLP has chosen Eric G. Fikry to be a member of the 2013 class of Fellows, participating in a landmark program created by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.
“We are proud of Eric’s active role as a member of Blank Rome’s Diversity Committee to enhance diversity initiatives within our Firm,” said Alan J. Hoffman, Blank Rome Co-Chairman and Managing Partner. “In joining the LCLD program, Eric will work with other attorneys from diverse backgrounds who have been recognized for their potential as leaders in their organization.”
According to LCLD Executive Director Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Fellows Program offers participants “an extraordinarily rich year of relationship-building, virtual and in-person training, peer-group projects, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership.”
Founded in 2009, the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity is a growing organization of more than 200 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners dedicated to creating a truly diverse legal profession. Its goal is to help its member organizations find, hire, retain, promote, and engage the best talent.
Mr. Fikry concentrates his practice in the area of commercial litigation, and frequently represents clients in the gaming industry. He was selected as one of the Legal Intelligencer’s thirty-five "Lawyers on the Fast Track" for 2012 and one of the New Jersey Law Journal’s “40 Under 40” in 2010. He is the Co-Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Diversity. He also serves as Secretary of the Camden County Bar Association, and as Chair of the Camden County Bar Foundation’s President’s Commission on Diversity. Mr. Fikry is a former Executive Board Member of the Asian-Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey.
