Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Kevin J. Bruno, Partner, has been appointed to the American Bar Association’s 2010-2011 Litigation leadership team as a Co-Chair of the Environmental Litigation Committee. Mr. Bruno was selected for this appointment in recognition of his achievement as one of the nation’s leading environmental litigation attorneys.

As Co-Chair, Mr. Bruno will assist with positioning the Committee to respond quickly to the latest environmental issues facing the legal profession, and further the Committee’s goal of helping members become better environmental litigators. Mr. Bruno will serve a one-year term as Co-Chair, with the opportunity for reappointment by future Section Chairs.

At Blank Rome, Mr. Bruno focuses his practice on environmental and insurance matters. He has extensive experience defending clients against lawsuits brought by the government regarding state and federal environmental programs, including CERCLA, RCRA and TSCA. He represents a wide variety of clients in connection with private-party cost recovery actions, alleged violations of the Clean Water Act and internal environmental audits and investigations. Mr. Bruno also represents policyholders throughout the U.S. in complex environmental insurance coverage litigation.

Mr. Bruno is also an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Law at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ.
