Blank Rome Attorneys Meet with the China Securities Investor Protection Fund Corporation Limited ("China SIPF")
On Friday, June 11, Blank Rome attorneys, Andrew Eckstein from our Business Restructuring and Bankruptcy Practice; Harris Cogan from our Corporate Litigation Practice; Brad Shiffman, Richard DiStefano from our Public Companies and Asia Practices; and Linping (Jackie) Shen, Blank Rome visiting attorney from the Dacheng Law Offices, met with Gongyan Chen, Yuehua Rui, Li Kang and Feng Shen, respectively, the Chairman, Vice Chairman and senior managers of the China Securities Investor Protection Fund Corporation Limited ("CSIPF")—China's version of the SIPC.
Blank Rome successfully introduced the firm and practice to CSIPF and shared with CSIPF's leadership perspectives and concerns regarding investor protection issues in the context of economic difficulties in the capital markets, insolvency and fraud scenarios.
