Philippe Salomon Boosts Litigation Practice

Blank Rome is pleased to announce that Philippe M. Salomon has joined the Firm’s New York office as a partner in the corporate litigation group, bringing more than 35 years of litigation experience, representing public and private corporations, partnerships and individuals. Prior to joining Blank Rome, Mr. Salomon was a partner at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, where he was active as a senior partner in the Securities Litigation Department and participated in various management roles throughout his career.

Mr. Salomon is a trial lawyer and litigator, primarily focusing his practice on all aspects of the federal securities laws, merger and acquisition litigation, general commercial and corporate litigation, complex securities and business disputes, and private client civil litigation. He specializes in trial, arbitration and appellate advocacy involving shareholder class and derivative actions, officer and director liability actions, complex business-related torts, contracts, employment, real estate and fine-art litigation. Mr. Salomon represents clients before the Securities and Exchange Commission and other governmental, regulatory and self-regulatory organizations, while also conducting internal investigations and advising in-house general counsel on issues.
 
Mr. Salomon is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association and the Federal Bar Council.
 
Admitted to practice in New York, Mr. Salomon earned his Juris Doctor from Temple Law School, where he served on, and published in, the Temple Law Review. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University. Mr. Salomon is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court; the United States Court of Appeals for the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Ninth, Eleventh and District of Columbia Circuits; and United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, District of Connecticut and the Northern District of California.
