Blank Rome Ranked in The Deal's List of Top Bankruptcy Attorneys

Once again, The Deal  ranked Blank Rome on the list of top bankruptcy firms based on the number of active cases in 2007.

Business restructuring and bankruptcy group chair Bonnie G. Fatell and Michael B. Schaedle, a partner in the group, were listed among the top bankruptcy lawyers.

Ms. Fatell is the practice group leader of Blank Rome’s business restructuring and bankruptcy group. For 25 years, Ms. Fatell has concentrated her practice on bankruptcy reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings, and related litigation. In March 2005, Ms. Fatell was one of the 34 inductees from the United States and abroad who were inducted into the College of Fellows of the American College of Bankruptcy. Ms. Fatell is only the second practicing Delaware attorney to become a member of the College. In 2008, she was elected a regent of the AmericanCollege of Bankruptcy for the Third Circuit.

Mr. Schaedle concentrates his practice on bankruptcy, reorganizations and workouts, debt and equity restructuring, and commercial and public debt transactions, including creditors’ committees, debtors, plan-of-reorganization proponents, and asset purchasers. Mr. Schaedle is a member of the Advisory Board of the American Bankruptcy Institute Mid-Atlantic Conference and the Steering Committee of the Bankruptcy Conference for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
