Washington, DC v. +1.202.420.3033 f. +1.202.420.2201

Dan Cardy has significant litigation experience, including seven jury trials, two USITC investigations, and numerous disputes that were resolved prior to trial. He participates in all aspects of IP litigation, including developing case strategy, writing motions, conducting discovery, arguing at hearings, and examining witnesses at trial. He generally focuses on the infringement and validity issues in patent cases, working with expert witnesses to guide the court or jury to the right result. These activities inform his opinion counseling and complement his practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Cardy began his career as a software consultant, developing websites and custom-made software to suit his clients’ business needs. His clients ranged from sole proprietors to large companies.
