Lawrence Hinkle is a trial lawyer focusing on entertainment and business litigation matters. In addition to specializing in handling disputes in the entertainment industry, Mr. Hinkle has handled a wide variety of business litigation matters in other industries including: real estate, technology, finance, apparel and manufacturing.
In the music, film, television, apparel and gaming industries, Mr. Hinkle has handled matters involving actors, writers, directors, producers, record companies, recording artists, talent agents and agencies, business and personal managers and management companies, musicians, models, production and distribution companies, financial institutions, investors, entertainment guilds, gaming companies and many other entertainment-related individuals and companies.
He has successfully represented clients in state, federal and appellate courts, in arbitrations, and before the California Labor Commissioner. Mr. Hinkle’s representation of clients covers a broad range of matters including:

Mr. Hinkle is the Litigation Division Chair of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries, the President of the John M. Langston Bar Association, and the Founder of its Entertainment Law Committee. Mr. Hinkle is a Board Member of the California Association of Black Lawyers and is a volunteer for the Alliance for Children’s Rights.
